The Royal Australian Air Force Memorial is located off of Victoria Drive and was dedicated in recognition to those who have served in the Air Force. It was originally dedicated at the Adelaide Airport on 18th October 1987 and remained there until its relocation in 2013. While the original memorial featured the 36 individual plaques that can be observed at the Torrens Parade Ground location, the current black granite plinth design was constructed as part of the relocation process. The memorial’s current design is structured in the shape of an aircraft propeller around a central flagpole.

The dedication plaque reads:

Air Force Memorial
The trees and plaques in this memorial are dedicated to airmen and airwomen
who gave their lives in service for their country
The major contribution to the establishment of this memorial is made by the late Ronald H. N. Badger, O.A.M is gratefully acknowledged
Dedicated 18.10.87
