The memorial was moved again, this time to become part of the ANZAC Centenary Memorial Walk, with a re-dedication ceremony on 11 November.

Division Among Market Gardeners, Elections, and a Visit From the Mayor
Division Among Market Gardeners, Elections, and a Visit From the Mayor

At the association meeting, president Mr JF Pascoe urged unity among gardeners, especially those who were reluctant to join the union. Because of tensions between them, government negotiations over importing and exporting fruits were for naught. Officers were elected for the next year, and Mr Pascoe was re-elected president. At the end of the meeting, Adelaide’s Mayor distributed prizes from the athletic competitions of that year’s East-End Market picnic.
