The Union Bank is constructed

Designed by prolific Adelaide architect Edmund Wright, the Union Bank was built in 1856 by Charles Farr. In 1892 it merged with the Bank of South Australia. The building was then bought by the Women’s Christian Temperance Union which occupied it as Union Hall from 1896. The structure was demolished in 1925.
