Certificate given to Miss Tilbrook in 1963 in honour of her 75th birthday by the Clare branch of the Women’s Agricultural Bureau (WAB) of South Australia, and thanking her for her devotion to the cause for the past 15 years.
Miss Millicent Fanny Tilbrook (1888-1981), a school mistress and noted teacher of botany, became the first woman president of the Clare Institute in 1954. She was also involved in the Red Cross, Croquet Club and Girl Guides, and was the first woman president of the Clare Institute.
