Detailed Description
Paper card with emblematic image in the centre in red, blue and black showing image of a kangaroo with flags. Inside are ‘H.M.A.S. “Bungaree” 1941-1945’, the ship’s vital details and a printed Christmas message. The card has not been used. The HMAS Bungaree was a 7th fleet stores ship, survey ship and mine layer. During its career HMAS Bungaree laid over 9,000 mines in various locations. It sailed in Torres Straight and Pacific bases during the Second World War.
