The plaque was unveiled on 7 May 2015 to mark the 50th Anniversary of the 110 Light Anti-Aircraft Battery, Royal Australian Artillery. After its initial raising at Woodside Barracks on 10 May 1965, the battery was dispatched for active service in Malaysia at RAAF Base Butterworth.    

The memorial inscription reads:

LEST WE FORGET   ANDAI NYA KITA TERLUPA

Dedicated To The Memory Of The Australian And Commonwealth 
Servicemen And Women Who Paid The Supreme Sacrifice, And To
Those Who Served During :

WWII Malaya & Borneo Campaigns  1941 – 1945
The Malayan Emergency,                   1948 – 1960
The Indonesian Confrontation,          1962 – 1966

“At The Going Down Of The Sun And In The Morning We Will Remember Them.”
